Exclusive Enamel Pins
Most people assume that
making your own enamel pins is a long and complicated process. To be honest, it’s
not. It’s actually pretty simple and straightforward. For small quantity, it
doesn’t take longer than 2-4 weeks.
So, how to customize your personal enamel pins?
The process can be broken
down into the following steps.
Prepare Your Own Design
To begin with, we required
PDF file or Ai vector file for mold casting.
Pins are small to work on
complex logo. When you’re looking at a pin from a distance, using bold lines
and strong colors would be very helpful and obvious.
Decide What Material Your
Pins Will Be
Normal pins are made of
Zinc-alloy.
There are two traditional
treatments of the logo: Hard Enamel and Soft Enamel. What’s the difference
between them?
Hard Enamel
They are made from
die-struck iron metal and produced by heating to a high temperature and then
polishing to create a smooth surface, which usually gives them a high-quality,
durable feel.
Soft Enamel
The defining characteristic
is their textured pin surface with allowance to more detail and slightly lower
cost.
They are made from
die-struck iron metal, electroplated, and optional epoxy coating, which usually
gives them a thinner feel in comparison to Hard Enamel pins.
They are true materials so
whichever one you choose can make for a great pin. Go with whatever style can
best communicate your design!
Decide What Size Work The
Best
Usually a small pin is 2-3cm
long. This makes the pin more portable, easier to apply on your jackets and
even lower in cost.
For larger size, which is
larger than 3cm, allow for much more detailed design since you’re working with
a larger canvas, therefore their size also limits the places where they can be
pinned too.
If you’re working with a
limited budget and have a simple design, smaller pins are the best choice.
Pin price determined by pin
size, smaller pins are likely to be cheaper.
MOQ of Pins
Our minimum quantity is
100pcs. When quantity raises, price for per-label decreases.
Decide The Pin-backs
Rubber clips and butterfly
clips are the common fasteners. The difference is rubber clips have so many
color options to match your pins.
Butterfly clip only has
golden and silver look.
